Welcome
to a Christian faith community that is, in some significant ways, unique. We represent diverse spiritual backgrounds, orientations, professions and experiences and genuinely care about each other. Our community will be enriched by your presence. We look forward to meeting and welcoming you!
Mary Gaut, Pastor
Lent
Lent is the six week period leading up to Easter, when Christians traditionally engage in a period of reflection on some if the deeper aspects of the faith. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday.

Wednesday Night Suppers & Discussion
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM., beginning February 29th
Throughout Lent we gather for a simple supper and time of reflection and discussion. This year we will focus on a series of video presentations by the distinguished and provocative theologian, Walter Brueggeman.
This video-discussion format invites engagement and response. Brueggemann presents this compelling faith exploration and develops the contemporary significance and relevance of the Old Testament prophets as un-credentialed purveyors of covenant and moral coherence in a world of power, money and violence. Led by Rick Dezes
Format:
(1) a DVD featuring five 10-15 minute presentations by Walter Brueggemann, followed by additional video of Walter interacting with a small, diverse group of adults as they respond and discuss the topics.
(2) a participant workbook containing all the material needed by class participants as well as for the facilitator.
Please sign up at the church if you plan to participate.

| Enjoy a Winter Walk in the Woods
The Nature Trail/ Meditation Trail in the woods behind the church has been resurfaced with wood chips and six meditation stations have been added. These facilitate the walker's appreciation of the beauty of creation though all the senses. Take a few minutes any time to enjoy the beauty of the forest in Autumn.
