Staff

Pastor Mary Gaut has been with us since 1996. Following several years in journalism, political PR and advertising, she received her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained in 1982. She also holds degrees from Mary Baldwin College and the University of Texas. Mary has served congregations in Louisville, Kentucky and the Baltimore metropolitan region and held leadership position in the denomination and community. She is married to Rocky Gaut and between them they have five grown children (her two and his three).




Charles Hayes, Organist and Minister of Music, directs a choir of about 16-20 talented volunteers and a professional section leader, Soprano Anne North. He is a graduate of Cornell College, Mt. Vernon Iowa and the University of Iowa and holds positions in the music departments of Coppin State College and Morgan State University in Baltimore.

Dale Salah, our Office Administrator, keeps things running smoothly and coordinates use of the building by outside groups. Her background in chemistry gives her a keen appreciation for “the details,” and her creative eye and computer savvy are great gifts to us. Her office hours are 7 AM to 1 PM Tuesday through Thursday.



Terry Lilly, custodian, is the longest tenured of all our staff members, having kept our building clean and tidy for almost two decades. He can usually be found at the church in the late afternoons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He is a full-time employee of the Baltimore Country School System.



The Session is the governing board of the church. Rick Dezes is the Clerk of Session and helps set priorities, keeps church records and helps establish the Session agenda.


Current members of the Session are: Carol Dezes, Linda Koch, Connie Newton, Jack Nichols, Rosemary Scott and J.Wright Witcher (Treasurer).
