The Sanctuary

Many visitors comment on the

peacefulness and beauty of our

sanctuary.  The clear glass

windows allow a feeling of

connection with the beauty of

nature and the change of

seasons becomes part of

the liturgy.  The mid-week

services provide for

reflection and contemplation

and the Tuesday evening

vespers are candlelit.

The Labyrinth

Set among native shrubs and towering trees, our community labyrinth is an ideal spiritual tool for our busy lives and times. Walking the labyrinth helps relieve stress and anxiety, bringing a sense of peace. You are invited anytime--day or evening--to walk this path at your own pace as a form of prayer and/or meditation.

The Memorial Garden
Many of us like to find a quiet place to be alone with our thoughts and with God and to contemplate our lives.  Or to sit on a bench in the sun or the shade and meditate. Situated in the woods behind the Church is a secluded area with a rectangle of grass surrounded by rugged stone walls and overlooking the trees. Deep in the earth beneath the lawn are the ashes of previous members who have expressed a wish to be interred near their church. The area is approached by a stone path from the parking lot that has been planted with shrubs and flowers which bloom in season.
