Sunday Forum
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 MPC members and friends gather to hear talks, view videos, engage in debate and discussion about issues germane to our life in the 21st century. Social justice, interfaith relationships, environmental concerns, theological themes, peacemaking, spiritual renewal, Christian living all are grist for the mill at the "Adult Forums." This is a great way to get to know how MPC ticks!
Faith Journey Group
This group is the focal point for our on-going theological explorations. Discussion usually centers on a book by a contemporary theologian which leads to lively and creative exchanges. The group meets monthly on the second Sunday evening of the month in the homes of group members.
Classes for Inquirers
Periodically, when there is a number of people who are interested in the possibility of uniting with the congregation, the pastor plans a series of classes about our congregational life and core values, what it means to be a Christian and our Presbyterian heritage. Anybody interested in partipating in one of these classes should contact Pastor Gaut.

Women Encountering the Bible
Meetings follow the Sunday morning service, usually on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
Currently we are reading Thomas Cahill's book, Mysteries of the Middle Ages, The Rise of Feminism, Science, and Art from the Cults of Catholic Europe. We are first considering the life of Hildegard of Bingen. In April we plan to visit the Walters Art Museum for a tour of Treasures of Heaven, led by a member of our group who is a Walters Art Museum docent. Members are making mandalas to illustrate their own vision. Each woman brings her unique perspective to the group and has an equal share in the choices of book or topic.
